CD Rom
I am English and do not speak Afrikaans. I chose this as I need the children to hear the language by native speakers. It is our first year and this CD Rom provides games and simple tests on essential words and phrases for absolute beginners. I simply want the children to get used to how the language sounds and to learn basic vocabulary . I also use MR Publisher Afrikaans Sonder Trane Boek 1 for the basics. I am doing French as my second language and Afrikaans as a third so I am only aiming at this stage to gain a familiarisation of the language and don’t intend to take it as a matric subject. ~ Anonymous
