About WendyThe Young family started the homeschool journey when their first child, Jessica was born. Now, 13 years later and living in Cape Town, Wendy successfully manages to be a supportive wife of 17 years to Gavin; teach her four children, Jessica (13), Jonathan (11), Sarah (9) and David (6); run her home efficiently as well as bless and minister to many homeschool families. She achieves this through support days, Charlotte Mason workshops, facilitation of e-mail groups, her website Homeschool Curriculum for Life and educating new homeschoolers through her books, A Living Education, A Handbook for South African Homeschoolers, Love Never Fails and her free A Living Education monthly ezine. She recently created The Ultimate Homeschooling Mom’s Planner CD with printable planning templates, chore charts and more to help other moms organise and find freedom in planning for their homes and learning areas. Wendy has a natural ability to gather resources, network people and research information. This South African Homeschool Curriculum website is the natural outworking of her expertise combined with her desire to equip others.
