The wooden figurines are lovingly hand painted and sealed with a water-based sealant.
The cards all feature original watercolours by Grietjie Thorne.

Bird Study Set 1 – Yellow Hornbill

This set focuses on the Yellow-billed Hornbill, but also introduces families to three other local species:
  1. the Trumpeter,
  2. Crowned and
  3. Southern Ground Hornbills
The set consists of
  • A hand painted, wooden Yellow-Billed Hornbill
  •  4 x A5 laminated fact sheets about Yellow-Billed Hornbills in general, as well as information about their peculiar nesting habits, feet and bills.
  •  4 ring bound, A5 laminated cards with information about three other local hornbill species.
