Settlers Monument is worth a drive past or a quick look in. Drostdy Barracks built by Piet Retief are still standing too. Bathurst is an interesting Settler Village with lots of history. Visit the toposcope there. Visit The Pineapple at Bathurst. Walk to Dias Cross near Bushman's River Mouth. Visit the aquarium and see the dolphin show at the Oceanarium in PE. See the feeding of the penguins too. Climb the steps of the Camponile in PE. Visit no 7 Castle Hill in PE - the oldest house. Addo Elephant Park Graaff- Reinet - visit the Drostdy House Queenstown - Miss Lock's Shell museum - an enormous collection of beautiful hand-made ornaments and art completely created from shells and products of the sea. Stunning.
