Before Your Paint Your Toenails
By now your homeschooling year should have come to an end and we hope you are enjoying a little more freedom with your time!
Before you kick off your sandals and paint your toe nails for the summer holiday, we’d like to encourage you not to leave your ordering and planning for 2009 until the last minute. Yes, after the New Year will be ‘the last minute.’ So avoid the rush and make sure you have your materials ordered before you really get into holiday mode!

Advice
Take a moment to look back on this past year and consider the lessons that you, the parent has learned.
Wendy’s lessons:
I have learnt that for my children truly to flourish I need to cater to all parts of their growth - intellectual, spiritual, hands, physical bodies and to be patient with little beginnings.
I have to remember to acknowledge the smallest things that are developing and not always to rush for the end-product.
In my life I have to be patient with others who do not see things the way I do and to remember that truly love conquers all.
Shirley’s lessons:
For me, its been to realize how much my heavenly Father loves me and place my trust in Him, instead of having expectations of others, who so often disappoint me. When I look to Him for all my needs, then I don’t fall into that trap!
I have also realized that I need to understand each of my children’s love languages better and learn to fill their love tanks in appropriate ways.
